i have finally done my taxes, so may i present the official song of me having done my taxes
In hindsight, going after that bear with a bow and arrow may not have been the wisest choice.
Oh, Fox News, will you never learn.
uspol reminder for my fellow white lgbt activists
It's important to celebrate today's important Supreme Court win. When we wake up tomorrow feeling refreshed, please remember that the "Title VII" that's the subject of today's ruling and the "Title IX" that was in last week's news refer to sections of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Our win is the direct result of vital groundwork from dedicated Black activists, and they still need our help.
tld game, bears
There is a lot of meat on one bear.
Which is to say, yes! I killed a bear. With a revolver. I got the drop on him from the deck of the Riken, where he couldn't charge me. I got a lucky shot, finished what I was doing, and went to bed. The next morning I went hunting, with some trepidation, for the wounded bear. He'd bled out overnight.
I am now 1-3-2 against bears in survival mode.

Marginally #medieval adjacent ... as part of the Known World Dance Off in the #sca, Insulae Draconis prepared this, using the song that would have won Eurovision. From Iceland, or the shire of Klakavirki in Insulae Draconis, in Drachenwald.
random information: in 2005, the country of georgia fired almost all of its police force. at once. the whole institution was just deemed unsalvageable (corruption, abuse of power, you know). they then rebuilt the whole thing. the country got by just fine without police for some months. there are several studies on the results, apparently it worked out pretty well: https://www.centreforpublicimpact.org/case-study/siezing-moment-rebuilding-georgias-police/ https://fsi.stanford.edu/publication/police-reform-georgia
